The Lithgow Golf Course is finally starting to dry out after a long period of sodden fairways and a good field enjoyed the best weather for some time for a stableford event.
The greens were extremely quick with the holes placed in some testing positions with only three golfers playing to their handicap finishing with scores of 36 points.
The A grade voucher was won by one of the club’s best young golfers with Blake Goldspink (4) again showing what an excellent prospect he is when he set up his win with an outstanding front nine carding a one under par 35 off the stick and went on to register 36 points.
