It was a real team effort by the Lithgow Golf Club’s two ball aggregate winners and it had to be with some very good scores recorded. The winners were Anthony Oldfield (6) and Grahame Dean (9) who were the last team on the course and came in with a combined score of 79 points. Oldfield hadna big day out with a personal score of 41 points boasting four birdies. Dean was also impressive with his 38 points.
Runners up were the ‘dynamic’ duo of Christine Peachman (28) and Kim Flynn (25) with the girls leading for the majority of the day with their score of 78 points only to be pipped by the last group.
Peachman was outstanding with a score of 41 points while Flynn gave good support with her 37 points.
A single event was held in conjunction with Dave Warren (11) taking out the winning voucher with a score of 41 points. Warren played consistent golf scoring 39 off the stick on both nines. Runner up on 40 points was the inform Graeme Osborne (23).
Vouchers went to Josh Jones, Dean Stafford, Kyle Egan, Greg Jackson, John Murnane, Cooper Egan, Rob Peachman, Leonie and Kevin Hughes, Mitchell and Gary 5 Wallace, Ken Mitchell and Ken Durie. Vouchers cut out on 73 ocb.
Nearest to the pins were Jeff Geddes, Josh Jones, Paul Stewart, Anthony Oldfield and Ken Durie.
Wednesday PFD Food Services nine hole competition:
Winner was Ben Sabat on 16 points from runner up Tony Potts on 15 points ocb. Vouchers went to Dave Thompson and Warren Kennedy. Cut out on 15 ocb. Nearest to the pin was Brian Quick.
Friday Central West Leak Detection and Plumbing nine hole competition:
Chris Keller took out the major voucher with a score of 19 points. Runner up was Luke Brown on 18 points with Brown also winning the nearest to the pin. Vouchers went to Josh Howarth and Dallas Tilley.
